8293, Power Functions Kit revealed

Box image for next September set 8293 (Power Functions Motor Set) is now available for you all to see!

Finally we got to know what's included, and it seems to be the same PF components, that also appear within the upcoming 8297 (Off Roader).

So, it should be:

  • 1 Battery box
  • 1 Motor
Size 'M'!? Difficult to be sure about elements real scale on image.
Also motor color combination seem not to fit the 'XL' and 'M' currently available... Could it be a new PF motor version??? An 'S' size???
  • 1 Pole-Reverser
  • 1 Light
From the image, I would say that there are no other additional parts, unlike the usual for these kits.

An extra source to get these new lamp and pole-reverser PF parts, is welcome. ;)

Fantastic! $42 for the new light, pole reverser, mystery motor and battery box. I will definetely pick up at least 2 of these...

I still think that there are 2, not one lights. If you look at the box of 8275, it shows 2 motors right next to eachother, with only one wire for the two of them. So if there are 2 lights, it would show only one wire coming out. If you look at the image of the light, it could easily be made of 2 separate parts right next to eachother. I really hope that that the new pf pieces can be remote controlled, as then I could make amazing Mindstorms models! I

I believe the motor is a Medium one, judging by the proportions.
As for the light brick, indeed it appears to have two lamps (or, hopefully, LEDs), but both in the same brick and right next to each other. So, a light pipe would be needed in most cases.
