Week TechVideo, 2009 #33 - 850 Kinematic Animation

This week one Kinematic Animation for the first TECHNIC set (850, Forklift), showing its functions.
It resulted from a joint work being done between Eric Albretch (the man from Technicopedia) and Roland Melkert (author of LD4DStudio [1, 2]), for some TECHNIC models.

Three area lights were used without radiosity and renders took a few hours. One version with high quality radiosity and animation was also performed before, but rendering process took over 150 hours.
The model was built in MLCAD, the movements were created with LD4DStudio and renders made with POV-Ray. The final post-processing was done in iMovie.

You may find several other LD4DStudio video renderings performed by Roland, at his YouTube channel.
