Week TechVideo, 2011 #27 - Ball factory GBC module

Today one video from a Japanese builder (Akiyuky) who made this out of LEGO Technic elements, to become a great GBC module.

In fact it looks half way between a proper GBC module and the mechanical wonders, from the amazing superbird28.
But that shouldn't be a surprise, as the author itself wrote to have been inspired by these.

On his YouTube channel, you will find some other videos from additional great GBC modules and diverse Technic constructions. But on is website, you'll find what seems to be the ultimate GBC factory...

Eagerly waiting to see this working, anytime soon...

super cool, now just add a NXT to sort the balls again, and the circle is round.

Yes, I remember to have seen one at YT, that separates the balls, with one NXT and a color detector. :)

@conchas did you get to see the more advanced version on his website? if you look closely at his pictures there is much more!

You're absolutely right, thus I've added extra info into this post.

Thanks for the tips! ;)

that is just amazing...

As much as I'm a robotics fan... and love electronic gadgets.... its always MUCH more impressive when it's pure mechanical linkages, as opposed to a bunch of NXT servos/sensors.

There's almost something of beauty watching those brown baskets get picked up, and moved around... :)

I know we'll never see it any time soon.. but imagine a bunch of Official TLG 'GBC' starter sets?

I don't think I can express how impressed I am. It's simply impressive the way every single mechanism is perfectly synchronized in a purely mechanical way! anazing!

What I love about this and superbird28's work is the perfection of the mechanisms it isn't nearly right it IS right 100% of the time. (there are no balls falling out!) I'm looking forward to seeing the whole Factory video..

I'm in love with Akiyiky's creations,

@Conchas, did you noticed the GBC train, that is also mechanical??

Yes I noticed, but somehow I preferred to highlight this one.
