By the time that I'm writing this post, it got already 2.289 votes and needs another 7.711 to go!
It is in the first page of actual most supported models and almost in the CUUSOO Main Page, for which it just needs to reach 6th rank in the list, if it is somehow automatically updated (it is actually 7th and just one vote away...).
If you have not yet left your support, do it now! Click the logo below and help making this model an official set from LEGO.

Voting is free, and CUUSOO site login is also available through Facebook.
Meanwhile, Peer has been celebrating and acknowledging Tachikoma supporters, at each new thousand votes.

Spread the CUUSOO word, among every LEGO Fan you know!

Edit:
The Tachikoma just reached the CUUSOO Main Page (it was updated automatically indeed). Congratulations!

Now it is just one "step" away from the LEGO production review...

That would be an amazing official set but I imagine the licensing will make it unfeasible.
So far, Lego as licensed Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman, Ben 10, Cars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Prince of Persia, Speed Racer, Spider-Man, SpongeBob SquarePants, Star Wars, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Toy Story.
I think they can handle it.
Indeed they can handle it. The last set they released was "Minecraft" whcih is also a commercial brand. And the one under evaluation is from the movie "Shaun of the dead". I don't see why this one would be more problematic than the last two...
True but I don't see this fitting the Lego mold given the adult nature of the show. That set I would LOVE and Ghost in the Shell line of sets. Or at least see them leverage their existing licenses into the technic branch. Tumbler!
I am staying postive for you... :)
You definitely have a better shot than I do...
Btw, this week they are highlighting models using Power Functions through the CUUSOO twitter feed! Higher chance to highlight models with some technical components...
