This is what Friends are for!...

Friends now ... You say!
GBC fans can rest assured the LEGO soccer and basket balls price hike is about to stop!

These are coming back in 2013, within two Friends sets (41008 and 41011).
Both use the football mold. The first includes one orange ball and the second one white with a blue stamping (which some may feel won't fit that nice into a GBC layout).

Can you find them?

I'm speechless. This is an amazing thing they have done. It would have been so easy for them to simply use the zamor sphere mold...
Hats off to LEGO!

I just noticed another detail: one of the balls is white(ish) and the other is orange... just like the two colours that used to be produced. This way, even GBC modules that rely on ball colour still work! Great job, TLG! 8-)

I found some more new pieces in a TMNT set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tormentalous/8167984067/in/photostream

Check the pieces that hold the flick-missiles. ;)
