Today Jeppe unveils the new Exclusive co-creation model (winner of the LEGO Technic 2012 Competition) at the official LEGO Technic blog and we got to know its reference is gonna be 41999.
Here also the sneak preview!
YOU DESIGN IT! THEY MAKE IT! Gorgeous!
Do you see the differences? There are quite a lot!
The Dark Blue elements look great! Do I see a kind of silver shade in the border of the rims? Can it be, or is it just a lighting effect

Six different panels in the new color at least. Inclusive the newer version of the 11x3 Curved Panel.

Did you still remember this?

It would be nice to put the "original" and the LEGO version side by side and do a game of "spot the differences" :D
@Jetro
Done! Later will do a proper framing for the former photo. ;)
More like 16(!) panels in the new color.
I really like both versions. The new color scheme is really awesome and works well with the red chassis.
@Balrog
I meant different ones. :)
Will make it clearer.
And I'm not sure if they're 16 or 14 in total.
Beautiful! looks like i'll have to get one after all...
do you think they chose dark blue because of the poll we had here?
@Fernando
I thought about the numbers of 14 and 16 myself. I am convinced it is at least 16. You probably mean the section where the new 3x11 curved panel is. And I believe there is a panel to the front side as well, because you can see a slight curved dark blue something behind the black mudguard. Perhaps all in all it is even more panels. The original Boss Crawler has another 3x11 curved paned on the back and we do not know if there is another panel on the trunk.
But thanks for clarifying your thought about 6 different panels. It wasn't originally clear what you mean in the original text. At least to me it wasn't.
It looks like the wheels have moved to the six pinhole design, which i don't like. :(
What do you mean new 11x3 panels? Am I missing something?
nevermind. Why did ther redisign it, though?
@Jackie Pan
Maybe for increased usability.
They offer extra connectivity options.
the dark blue looks awesome as well as the white rim of the wheels.
@Balrog
Now that I had the chance to zoom the image, there are definitely at least 16 panels.
I'm just not sure anymore, whether they are Dark Blue or palin LEGO Blue? :/
From a reutilization perspective, Blue would be event better. :)
Some of these panels were never released in Blue before, except in my Dunechaser of course... ;D
In my opinion there are 18 panels at least (which I see) and maybe other on the back(one small panel is on the back, below, just like original black version has).
As we can see, there are 6 types of panels.
