After 3 sessions and about 8 hours net time building, speaking and taking photos, the 42009 (Mobile Crane MK II) Live build session are now finished. Then I'll proceed with a review, here on TBs .
Thanks to all of you attended and participated in these sessions with your comments and interaction through the Ustream chat interface. With some ups and downs, the third session was finally very successful and running without significant technical problems. It seems we're successfully learning how to do it as we practice.
Some of the videos recorded live are now available trough the TechnicBRICKs Live Stream Channel and you can see offline how it ran.
Recently we have noticed that no one could post comments on TBs

Hence I've disable the Google+ comments here for now, and you can enter your comments again!

I forgot to ask during the streaming, and you may have commented on it before I was able to attend... how to you compare the new "quarter cylinder" panels with the old ones?
I've shown both again in the beginning of the live stream session III. Someone asked. :)
While the new design has some aesthetically impacts (positive or negative, depends on each one), they offer a lot more connection possibilities. This increases the usecases and hopefully increased structure stiffness.
The review on Mocbuilds.com of the 42009 has both positive and negative sides as well, but compared it to the 8421 in a few categories and said the 42009 was a better overall build.
Yes Copper, I support your conclusion!
