41999 is now available for online ordering

After a long wait and exactly at the promised time, the new 41999 4x4 Crawler Exclusive Edition is now getting available for ordering at shop.LEGO.com, according to several countries timezone where the LEGO online shop is available.

Orders are limited to two units per buyer, to avoid the 20.000 units limited edition to get exhausted in a few hours by BrickLink speculators, who certainly would get tempted to stock as many units as possible, to sell not so much later with high profits. This way every fan should be able to order one or two exemplars without much hurry and stress!

I got my hands on one of the copies of this set! I'm a happy man.
Let's wait and see when it'll arrive..
The was no mentioning of being "out of stock"

I don't think it will exhaust that fast. 20.000 units is a lot for Technic fans community size.
It should last more than a few days. :/

I've ordered also! :)

Guess what – it's out of stock.

Fernando Correia said...

Well... was not expecting it! :)
But it says it will ship in 30 days.

Maybe there was not all stock available at once or it needs to be redistributed among distribution centers!?
Really don't know how the warehouse and S@H logistics work. :/

I got my Crawler when I came home this afternoon. I was on vacation in Germany and called LEGO Direct at August 1 at 09:30. The woman said that the crawlers they've received were already sold out. They would receive new crawlers at August 5. But when I came home it was already there (August 2nd)!!! Now just need to find the time to get to the post office to get the Technic Mobile Crane Mk II with the free large Backhoe Loader... Lovely days!!!

i used to visit this blog about once a week but now i have less free time and only visit once a month or two...
so when i learned about this new crawler (about 2 weeks ago) it was already too late... it was out of stock...

but "strangely" i can buy it on auction sites for at least twice the price...

i never post comments but i just had to share my disappointment... true LEGO fans can not have this awesome set because some opportunists bought several copies to then sell them with a huge profit...
