42024, Container Truck first image

Today we got to see the first image for the upcoming 42024 Container Truck set, without watermarks and good detail.
It seems part of a new brochure for 8293 Motor Set, probably found earlier than it should.
This is consistent with the fact that the set does not have included PF, as we can see from the box, but instructions to optionally motorize the truck.

You can now clearly see the new tires and model's functions! It's your turn, to discuss them...

To my eyes the truck looks really nice, have a good color schema and interesting functions.
Quite close to 42008 in terms of the outriggers, but why should that be a problem?

Finally the 5x11 panels in blue! I can now replace my 3D printed ones, at Dunechaser.

Meanwhile one Dutch online store have disclosed their and expected average retail prices (as TLG does not provide target retail prices).
And here they are:
  • 42020, Twin Rotor Helicopter
    Their Price: 9,00€

  • 42021, Snowmobile
    Expected retail price: 15,99€

    Their Price: 71,00€

Nice Tires and I'm curious about the part they've used as chains for the container too.

I'm curious to see how it compares to the 8052 Container Truck.

@Jetro,

It looks like Bionicle Link (53551) in Pearl Dark Gray.

Nice. I had never seen that part and it's been around since 2006 :D

I also see a 5L dark tan axle with stop near the battery box

@Fernando Correia

I think it's the Bionicle Link (53551) in Black, so it's new color. But I am not 100% sure.

No, it is not black.
