First rumors on 2014 2H sets

Today we got the first rumors about the 2014 2H sets.

One Hungarian online shop listed two 2H LEGO Technic sets.

  • 42030 - Model type still unknown
    Partcount: 1626
    Box weight: 3.290g
    Price: 59.875 HUF (~200€)

The uncomon price / partcount / weight combination suggests some kind of RC vehicle with several motors, or then some kind of breakthrough for the current LEGO Technic assortment...
  • Of course until the first images will pop-up this will remain totally uncertain.
  • 42029 - Customized Truck
    Box weight: 1.758g
    Price: 23.915 HUF (~80€)

If I recall this correctly, it is not the first time in the past few years that we get the first 2H Technic rumors in the New Year's Eve... Tradition still is what it used to be!

Good advice! :)

Apart the flagship which is unexpected but Ok, I'm not so happy with the rest of the 2H assortment.

I see. Maybe there are new hidden parts that will make them good.

the 42030 has alsmost the same price / partcount / weight combination as the 41999, so maybe you're right about an rc vehicle.

Maybe a Mercedes SLR??? or is that Mercedes licence onl;y for a Unimog?

@rherberg

For quite some time, we know exactly which vehicle it is.
First blurry images have leaked yesterday on EuroBricks.

I know, I just saw it, another yellow vehicle (with one (big) unique part). I'm still hoping for a nice big set with lots of cogs and real technic like the 8479.
RC models are Always low on interestic technic stuff (and cogs).

Hi all, I saw one of them on the lego catalog and its a Volvo Bulldozer on Wheels. Based off that little image printed, its definitely RC.
